This is a gift for a close family relative, not for a “relative” stranger, unless it’s a wedding present. Your child, whom you know doesn’t have one or your wife who has had one for 40-years and deserves a new one, this is perfect. Make sure you get the old one and chuck it or else she will save it just-in-case she needs two for a holiday. That rationale might apply to coffee pots but one is enough for food processors. Seriously it works as well or better than the old one and nothing is broken yet. Other reviews I read before I bought this one states the storage problem (yes, it’s tall) but I lay it down and it shrinks to half its height. As I remember the price was right from Amazon and with the free shipping, you save a lot of $2.50 gas. Love the wine I’m drinking.

have burned thru many processors, but this one has multiple speeds, is easy to clean, an has a large feed tube. We have two in our bakery and love them!
